2. LESSON MAKE UP CREDITS & REFUNDS:

2.1 Student Absence

In order to find a balance between providing a high quality service and ensure our tutors are paid fairly, and after much consultation, we have developed this policy.

If a student does not have their instrument, they are still required to attend their lesson as we can provide a solution, not limited to; lending an instrument, give direction for performance preparation or emphasise theory components.

Due to timetabling complexities and availability, teachers are not obligated to offer Make-up lessons. Any Make-up lesson granted is at the teacher’s discretion.

A Make-up Credit can only be granted for cancellation made with 48hrs or more before a student absence. It is expected that advance is notified with as much advance notice as possible. No credit can be granted for student cancellation without 48hrs notice.

There is a maximum of 1 Make-up Credit in a term which must be used within that same term and cannot be carried over to the following term.

No credit or refund can be granted for missed lessons which were not cancelled prior, or for early withdrawal from lessons during the term.

TO CANCEL a lesson: you must use the option in your MyAceMusic account Calendar event.
